NEWEST TOP DOGS

A brand new look that's looking good! Over the past few months, at the request of the Microcell Solutions Marketing Communications team, we've been busy creating new package designs for Fido handsets.

The new concept is in keeping with a new market segmentation that is more reflective of the brand's diversity. Each box displays an actual-size photo of the corresponding handset, and a photo shows the face of the type of user targetted, so that each potential customer can easily identify with one of the five available products. The new slogan, "Call me on my Fido," along with the dog and logo solidify the by-now familiar brand image, and lend consistency to the new family of products. Happy adoption!

EXTENDED FAMILY

We also extended the new visual identity to Fido accessories. In creating the packaging for Nokia 8890-compatible equipment, we worked in the same silver tone associated with the handset, which conveys the same up-market flavour . . . and makes it easier to keep track of the whole litter!

 

 

WHAT'S INSIDE THE BOX?

Unwrapping a brand-new Fido package is an exciting experience, and the way the interior contents are presented is important. The first things subscribers see when they open the box are the Fido user guide, the smart card, the handset and the accessories--all nestled in a clear plastic tray--followed by the manufacturer's operating manual. The packaging and documentation are designed to accommodate as many different products as possible, ensuring that production and assembly remain cost-effective. Call it a "one doghouse fits all" policy . . .
